Official Meetings and Social Events
Standing Meetings
Board meetings will be the Second Monday of January, March, May, August and October. Please note the next meeting will be an
exception, and held on the 1st Monday, March 5th.
Meetings are at Carney's at 7:00 PM. All BLIA members are welcome, even encouraged,
to attend board meetings.
Annual Meeting - The meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday June 14 at 7pm at the Ballston Lake firehouse.
Please remeber that voting privledges are contingent on dues payment. If you are unsure of your status please contact Frank Shipp
at 399-6506.
Clean Up Day - Will be Saturday, May 7th.

Social Events
In an effort to promote a sense of community, the BLIA has participated in and sponsored different activities. Last summer BLIA was
part of the 400 year celebration for the Town of Ballston which was held at The Good Times. We also sponsored the first summer picnic
for BLIA members. Both of these events were successful.
The 2011 summer picnic was again held at the Lakeside Farms Pavilion and was
well attended. This informal "bring a dish"event provided an opportunity for lake residents to meet new neighbors, greet old friends
and enjoy a summer night in Ballston Lake. Because of its success, we are planning on continuing this event. Our thanks to Jeff and
Denise Pearce and Lakeside Farms for the use of their facility.
The Annual Holiday Party was not held in December because of a declining
attendance during that time. The decision was made to have a winter gathering in February, away from the busy holiday season. This
years gathering was held on Tuesday, February 23rd at 7:00 P.M. at Carney’s Restaurant. A good time was had by the small number of
hardy souls who braved a heavy snowstorm to attend !
